Summer campaign 2020 for slope winch ropes

For the first time, Teufelberger’s quality ropes from the initial equipping of PistenBully winch vehicles are available via Pool-Alpin.

Since seven years and several million kilometers of piste winches Teufelberger is exclusively supplying Kässbohrer Geländefahrzeug AG with its ropes. The continuously high quality of Teufelberger ropes was decisive for this close cooperation, which has since been lived between the manufacturer and the supplier. According to the manufacturer, the slope winch ropes from Teufelberger are especially suitable for applications with high numbers of bending cycles due to their 9-strand construction. A particularly high breaking force is achieved by the special compaction technology Superfill®. “In addition, the coating of the greased steel core with a plastic cover - this technology is called Plastfill® - and special lubrication often increase the lifespan of our ropes to more than 1,000 operating hours,” explains Markus Würcher, Managing Director of Teufelberger Seil GmbH. The smooth surface also makes the ropes particularly resistant to highly compressed snow and ice, as stated by Teufelberger.

“With this year's summer offer via Pool-Alpin, which has been running since June 16, 2020, members of the purchasing community in the DACH region have the opportunity to order a limited amount of the original rope from the initial equipping for replacement rope needs at attractive conditions," explains Christof Heim, head of spare parts at Kässbohrer Geländefahrzeug AG. Of course, all PistenBully customers continue to benefit from the dense network of service partners. This closeness to the customer enables competent specialists to quickly perform the necessary services to ensure safety when using winch vehicle steel cables.
