With a spectacular and mysterious show, Prinoth presented a new protagonist of snow grooming technology: the new version of the classic Leitwolf snow groomer brought to life at the Comici cabin (IT) in 2002 – the new Leitwolf.
The newly built production facility of the Leitner Group in Telfs, near Innsbruck (Austria), offered the perfect background for the event that was held on May 5, 2011. A mise-en-scène around the wolf theme created a magical atmosphere, while the extraordinary ambience drove the audience in a frenzy. The howling of wolves bursting out of the speakers mingled with the exciting music rhythms as mysterious dancers disguised as wolf women created a breathtaking and unforgettable atmosphere.
In addition to the mysterious setting, the visitors came across a special course time and again, which was comprised of exhibits of the Leitner Group such as chairlifts and gondolas of Leitner ropeways, parts of Leitwind wind turbines, tracks and blades from Prinoth and snow cannons from Demac Lenko. People had the chance to take a closer look at the exhibited products, to touch and even to try what symbolised the unity of the Leitner Group at the site in Telfs. In order to give the audience an overview of the Leitner, Leitwind and Prinoth facilities, guided tours were given in different languages before the show.
The Herbert Pixner Trio special live music filled the air while the guests looked at the spectacular cooking show, or tasted savoury fancy foods and extraordinary cocktails named after some of PRINOTH snow groomers. The 800 people invited were offered an extravagant culinary experience. The veiled show area kept the audience guessing as to the attractions that were in store for them.
In front of representatives of the international ropeway industry and numerous well-known faces from politics, industry and sports, the Phoenix Firedancers finally revealed, within an impressive fire show, combining mystery & magic, dance & acrobatics, and music & light, the highlight of the evening: the new Leitwolf.
After the show, Mr. Michael Seeber, President of the LEITNER Group, and Dr. Werner Amort, President of PRINOTH, were asked to come on stage for an official interview together with the Governor of Tyrol, Mr. Günther Platter.
