The Quicksilver detachable gondola lift connects two ski areas: Canyons Resort in Park City (UT) and Park City Mountain Resort. CWA supplied 61 of its popular OMEGA IV-8 LWI gondolas.

The Lutsen Mountains ski resort on the north shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota has a new 8-passenger gondola lift with 24 OMEGA IV-8 LWI gondolas from the house of CWA.

Rico Wehrli (Sales & Marketing): “CWA has been successful on the US market since 1964 and in that time has delivered about 4,000 cars and cabins.” The photo shows the OMEGA IV-10 SI gondolas built for the TC de Solaise in Val d’Isère (F). One of the 91 gondolas is a VIP cabin.

The Sandia Peak Tramway in Albuquerque/NM has been refitted with KRONOS 55 + 1 reversible ropeway cabins. This is the third generation of cabins (1966/1986/2016) supplied by CWA.
